Charles E. Turnbull

Chuck Turnbull joined O'Reilly Rancilio P.C. as a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors in 1985. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he served on the Law Review and from which he also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in taxation. His clients include banks and other financial institutions and manufacturing, service and retail companies with whom he counsels on business, corporate and tax planning matters. He also oversees and supervises litigation on behalf of such clients. During the past several years, he has represented a number of financial institutions in recovering losses in connection with bank fraud and mortgage fraud claims, including recovery under fidelity insurance policies. He also represents individuals and small businesses in connection with real estate, taxation and estate planning matters.

Mr. Turnbull is active in professional and community activities. He has served as a member of the Macomb County Bar Association Board of Directors since 1999 and is the President of the Association. He also serves as a Trustee and member of the Board of Directors of the Macomb County Bar Foundation. He was a founding member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb County and served as the first President of that multi-disciplinary organization in 1996 1997. He maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was named a Michigan Super Lawyer in 2009 and 2010 in the area of Corporate Law.
