Anthony J. Bologna, Associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, was recently appointed Chair of the Condemnation Law Committee of the American Bar Association Section of State and Local Government Law.
The Condemnation Law Committee is comprised 115 of the most experienced lawyers in the nation who represent governments and private property owners and focus, not just on direct condemnations, but also inverse condemnation, regulatory takings and land use laws. Over the next few years issues involving smart growth, consequent down-zoning, environmental, public use and public purpose will be discussed by the committee. In his position, Mr. Bologna will help develop practices related to the expanded condemnation area.
