O'Reilly Rancilio will be gave a joint seminar on Monday, December 13, 2004 at the Westin Southfield. The topic of the seminar is "Managing Environmental Risk, from Bidding to Building". The construction industry today faces a challenging reality: most sites being developed in our region are environmentally challenged in some way, if not several ways. Surprisingly, many construction companies, general contractors and sub-contractors still learn this development reality the hard way. Without a proactive understanding of how to bid on contaminated sites, and how to protect yourself and your firm, your project costs, timelines and employees can all suffer. In this open lunch 'n learn forum, the goal is to educate contractor to better understand these challenges, and the "dos and don'ts" from legal, environmental, and disposal perspectives. We invite those professionals who work on project sites (construction managers, project managers, site supervisors, etc.) to attend this session, and get answers to their environmental risk question. The seminar speakers will include Robert C. Davis from O'Reilly Rancilio P.C., Patrick Bell, PG Environmental Team Leader at Atwell-Hicks and Kathleen Klein, Industrial Account Specialist at Waste Management.
