We understand the Zoning Enabling Act and its nuances and restrictions, including contract zoning, conditional rezoning, and special approval land uses.

In addition, our planning and zoning lawyers have attended thousands of zoning board and planning commission meetings, and we have successfully defended against a wide variety of lawsuits and appeals involving zoning and planning decisions.

We have also drafted and updated zoning ordinances for many communities, including a comprehensive rewrite of signage regulations following the United States Supreme Court’s opinion in Reed v Town of Gilbert.
