Craig S. Schoenherr, Sr. to Introduce New Bankruptcy Judge as President of CBA

On September 14, 2016, Craig S. Schoenherr, Sr. of the firm will introduce and officially welcome incoming bankruptcy Judge Maria L. Oxholm to the bench in Detroit. The reception, honoring retiring bankruptcy Judge Walter Shapero and welcoming Judge Oxholm to the bench, will take place at The Rattlesnake Club in Detroit, Michigan at 5:00 p.m. Mr. Schoenherr currently serves as a director and President of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association.

Mr. Schoenherr is an officer, director and managing shareholder of the firm, specializing in creditors' rights, bankruptcy law, collections and commercial litigation. In addition to the CBA, Mr. Schoenherr is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Macomb and Oakland County Bar Associations, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America – Bankruptcy Committee, the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees – Creditor’s Committee, the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, and the Michigan Creditor Bar Association. Mr. Schoenherr also serves as director and officer at Pope John House Detroit, which provides housing for patients and their families at the Detroit Medical Center and is a volunteer at the Cabrini Clinic in Detroit.
