The City of Sterling Heights has announced that Marc D. Kaszubski of the Firm has been appointed as City Attorney. Mr. Kaszubski's appointment came with the endorsement of Mayor Michael C. Taylor, who noted that his "academic credentials and practical experience make him an excellent choice to serve in this leadership capacity." A copy of the City's press release can be found here.

Marc's appointment fills a vacancy created when former City Attorney and Firm shareholder Jeff Bahorski stepped down to begin a new role with the City of Sterling Heights. Marc is the third City Attorney appointed in the City's 48-year history.

Marc joined the Firm in December 2003 and is a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Kaszubski has wide-ranging experience in the areas of business, municipal, and commercial litigation. Marc has extensive trial and appellate experience in both State and Federal court, including the Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, where he has successfully represented individuals, closely held businesses, insurance companies, domestic and foreign Fortune 500 corporations, municipalities, police officers, and national banking institutions.
