Brian C. Grant and Scott R. Ruark Join the Firm

The firm is pleased to announce that Brian C. Grant and Scott R. Ruark have joined the firm's litigation practice.

Brian C. Grant focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and probate litigation. Before joining the firm, Brian’s legal career started as an intern at the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office where he discovered his love for the courtroom. Brian also practiced at a mid-sized law firm in Southfield, Michigan where he handled cases in nearly every area of the law and served as an assistant general counsel to one of the largest financial service companies in the Midwest.

Scott Ruark joins the firm’s Litigation practice group and works on Federal Criminal Defense matters with Jim Thomas. Scott received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Scott served as an Executive Director for the school’s Moot Court Board of Advocates, participated on a National Moot Court Team, and participated on a National Trial Advocacy Team.
