
Shareholder Nathan Petrusak concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial law and civil litigation, municipal law, appellate, and bankruptcy law. A determined trial lawyer, Mr. Petrusak is approachable, honest, and forward-thinking with his clients. He brings analytical thinking and skilled argumentation to achieve the best possible results with every case. He chose O’Reilly Rancilio because he wanted to serve clients, businesses, and municipalities near his hometown.
Mr. Petrusak graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law in 2011. While in law school, he was Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review, and he placed third in the 2009 All-School Appellate Brief Writing Competition. He was the recipient of several Jurisprudence Awards, including Advanced Legal Writing, Land Use Planning, and Chapter 11 Reorganization. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2005 from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he also graduated magna cum laude.
Fellow attorneys selected Mr. Petrusak as a Super Lawyers Magazine “Rising Star” every year from 2016 to 2021. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2011 and is licensed to practice before all Michigan State Courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
