Michigan Lawyers Weekly named O’Reilly Rancilio attorney Marc Kaszubski to its Leaders in the Law Class of 2020. Kaszubski was one of only 30 honorees selected for their outstanding leadership and contributions to the practice of law in Michigan.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, O’Reilly Rancilio attorneys Clark Andrews, Don DeNault, Marc Kaszubski, Linda McGrail, Nathan Petrusak, and Alyssa Albright develop the firm’s COVID-19 Crisis Legal Team. The team addressed the many municipal legal issues related to the coronavirus.
To show support for Michigan’s First Responders, O’Reilly Rancilio attorneys offered free basic estate planning services to those serving on the frontline in the battle against COVID-19. The services included simple wills and Power of Attorney documents.
O’Reilly Rancilio attorney Sharon DeWaele-Persichini was appointed Richmond Township attorney by the Board of Trustees on April 7, 2020.
Together with Icon Development, the Sorrentino family, Luciano’s Italian Restaurant, and Innovation-Research Engineering and Development, the attorneys from O’Reilly Rancilio donated meals to the healthcare workers serving on the frontline at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
John Nitz, a founding member of O’Reilly Rancilio, was named to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame Class of 2020. The award recognized Michigan legal leaders over the age of 60 who have practiced for 30 years or more for their successful careers and valuable contributions to the community.
O’Reilly Rancilio attorney Clark Andrews received the State Bar of Michigan’s “Unsung Hero Award” for more than four decades of legal, volunteer, and pro bono work in Macomb County. The award, given annually to just one attorney in the state, recognizes a lawyer who has exhibited the highest standards of practice and commitment for the benefit of others.
O’Reilly Rancilio attorney Linda McGrail was selected as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Women in the Law” honorees. The award recognizes women who commit to excellence in the practice of law, are inspiring and accomplished leaders, serve as mentors to others, and contribute significant time and effort to volunteerism and/or pro bono initiatives.
Attorneys Chuck Turnbull, Larry Scott, Craig Schoenherr, Marc Kaszubski, Linda McGrail, James Sarconi, and Jim Thomas achieved Super Lawyer status. Super Lawyers, which is a rating of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who earned a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, compiled by SuperLawyers magazine. Attorney Nathan Petrusak was named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star.” Rising Star recipients must be age 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
The National Creditors Bar Association recognized O’Reilly Rancilio with its 2020 Community Service Award. The award recognized 21 firms who offered assistance related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did O’Reilly Rancilio partner with local business owners to donate meals to healthcare workers, our attorneys also offered free estate planning services for first responders.
O’Reilly Rancilio attorney Robin Yono was named one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Michigan’s Go-To Lawyers” for business law. The “Go-To Lawyers” program identifies and recognizes the top lawyers across the state in a given practice area.
